Mr Queen has 32 years of martial arts experience. He started his Martial Arts training at the age of 5 in Wado-ryu karate and is currently a 4th degree black belt. He has a 2nd degree belt belt in Mu-Chindo and 1st degree black belts in Bo-Jutsu and Iai-Jutsu and also holds grades in Jui-Jitsu, Shotokan and Kobu-Jutsu. Mr Queen has completed at regional, national and international level in both sparring and Kata. In October 2022, Mr Queen was inducted into the UK Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
Mrs Queen has 28 years of Martial Arts experience. She studied Tae Kwon Do at University and achieved a pre-dan grade before moving to Wakefield. She then started Wado-ryu karate in which she is currently a 2nd degree black belt. She also has a 2nd degree belt belt in Bo-Jutsu and holds grades in Jui-Jitsu, Mu-Chino karate and Sai-Jutsu. Mrs Queen has also competed at regional, national and international level competing twice at the World Championships. In October 2022, Mrs Queen was inducted into the UK Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
Mr Queen Jr. has been training in Wado-ryu Karate for nearly 5 years. He started in the Junior Dragons programme but was asked to join the Adult Karate class early when he was a purple belt. He has since achieved his 1st Degree Cadet Black Belt. During the recent lockdowns, Mr Queen Jr. was asked if he would teach the Little Ninjas via Facebook and Zoom. Having received good feedback for his lessons, Mr Queen Jr. was invited to join the Chuldow Certified Instructor Training programme and is the youngest ever to do so.
